What is this all about?
Gekkó is a fictional police department in Hungary, also known as the Department of Super Secret Affairs.
This is an online game in which you play the role of a Gekkó agent and help your friends and colleagues to deal with various tasks.
Some tasks are about hacking, but I'd like to make it clear in advance, that Gekkó is not a wargame in the classic sense. There are things in common, but I felt that there is no point in creating yet an other challange site about hacking, there is already a lot out there.
Deterrence
You won't find hacking related links, articles, software tools and other material in our site. We won't tell you how to hack your friends mailbox, and if you don't known what's the deal with tst netrc, you won't find the answer here. It's just an interesting game, a place to think about problems and spend some time.
